Usage:

• When measuring, place the cuff on the left arm, 1-2 cm above the elbow, and sit in a seated position.
• Place the stethoscope gauge under the cuff, under the tubes connected to the device, and insert the stethoscope earpieces into your ears.
• Close the air circulation valve on the pump by turning the screw clockwise.
• Inflate the bulb with your right hand; you will begin to hear your pulse through the stethoscope.
• Stop inflating when the gauge reads about 3 mm Hg above the expected systolic pressure. At this point, your pulse should no longer be audible through the stethoscope. Look at the gauge and slowly release the pressure by opening the screw counterclockwise.
• Listen carefully for the first pulse beat. As soon as it is heard, read the value on the gauge. This is your systolic pressure (upper number).
