RestoraFlor™ Junior, oral powder, is a food supplement that combines a special electrolyte mixture with a total osmolarity of 226 mOsm/l with a synbiotic (prebiotics – fructo-oligosaccharides and Lactobacillus rhamnosus GG ATCC n.53103 – a safe and clinically studied probiotic strain), in line with WHO and ESPGHAN/ESPID guidelines. For this reason, the solution obtained after dissolving the powder is ideal for oral rehydration and restoring the balance of intestinal flora. This product is especially useful in conditions associated with mild to moderate dehydration and/or imbalances of the bacterial intestinal flora (diarrhoea, vomiting or heavy sweating) from various causes.

In cases of diarrhoea and vomiting, the body loses fluids, salts and important nutrients, and the natural balance of the bacterial intestinal flora may also be disrupted. RestoraFlor™ Junior combines 2 actions in a single sachet:

• Optimal amount of Lactobacillus rhamnosus GG (ATCC nr.53103): 5 billion CFUs** – the safest and clinically tested probiotic strain, to maintain the balance of the intestinal flora.
• ORS formulation in line with WHO – ESPGHAN/ESPID guidelines, containing sodium, chlorides, citrates and dextrose to ensure proper rehydration and restoration of lost fluids and minerals.

The innovative Twinactiv™ sachet packaging, with two separate chambers, prevents direct contact between the active ingredients and ensures their stability in a unique form. RestoraFlor™ Junior is easy to take: the wild berry-flavoured powder dissolves easily in 200 ml of water in a glass or feeding bottle (baby bottle) and tastes very good.

Recommended dose

For children over 1 year. The contents of 1 (one) sachet are poured into a glass or bottle with 200 ml of water, dissolved well and taken according to the following recommendations:

• MILD – MODERATE DEHYDRATION

WHO recommends that during the first 4 hours (rehydration phase):
