The vitamin B family consists of eight B vitamins which are water-soluble and often work together. Your body cannot store B vitamins and needs a continuous supply to keep body systems functioning well, especially to maintain healthy energy levels.

Why choose active vitamin B?

Active, or activated, simply means each B vitamin is present in its bioavailable form. Inactive forms must be converted by the liver into active, bioavailable forms that your body can absorb and use. However, since the liver cannot convert them that quickly, most inactive B vitamins are eliminated from the body before offering much benefit. More than 98% of B-complex products contain inactive B. A liposomal product containing only active B vitamins is unique.

Also, as we age, the body's ability to convert inactive B vitamins into their active, usable form decreases. Stress, medication, caffeine, sugar and refined carbohydrates deplete B vitamins, increasing the body's need for them.
