Thyme and primrose help relieve irritation of the throat, pharynx and vocal cords.

Thyme (Thymus vulgaris) is a perennial plant of the Lamiaceae family rich in active substances such as glycosides of phenolic compounds, flavonoids, caffeic acid and rosmarinic acid. It has antibacterial, antiviral and anti-inflammatory effects and is often recommended for breathing problems. The active substances of thyme relax the bronchial muscles (antispasmodic effect) and facilitate expectoration of phlegm.

Primrose (Primula veris) is a low-growing perennial herbaceous plant whose pharmacological action is due to its components: glycoside forms of triterpene saponins, primulic acid A and protoprimulagenin A and their derivatives. They thin and stimulate the secretion of bronchial mucus, and also stimulate the motility of the cilia of the bronchial epithelium, which facilitates expectoration of phlegm.

Method of use:

Take three times a day, depending on age, in an amount of 5 to 15 ml. May be taken by children older than 4 years.
