Over the last decade there has been growing interest in the uses of vitamin K. Evidence from important studies suggests that a normal level of vitamin K helps optimal calcium regulation. Research may activate vitamin K-dependent proteins (VDK) which are needed for blood and other processes such as bone metabolism, vascular health and regulation of body growth and apoptosis.

Many now believe there is a sub-clinical vitamin K deficiency large enough to impair blood clotting ability, be widespread, and may contribute to osteoporosis and other age-related diseases.

Vitamin K2 is used as the most active and most effective form of this nutrient and is preferred over the K1 form. Lamberts K is a high-strength vitamin supplement containing 90 µg of vitamin K2 as menaquinone (MK-7), which has a greater effect than the MK4 form. It is free of cis-isomers. Small capsules that are easy to swallow and suitable for vegetarians and vegans.

Caution

Do not take if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Contains vitamin K; if you are taking anticoagulants (blood thinners), do not take without medical advice.

People taking anticoagulant medicines (blood thinners) who wish to take levels of 100 µg vitamin K or more should first consult their doctor.

Store in a cool, dry place and protect from light.

Use:

1 to 2 capsules a day.
