As a high-strength formula, Lamberts Vitamins D3 and K2 capsules provide 2000 IU (50µg) of natural vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol) as well as 90µg of vitamin K2 in the form of menaquinone-7 (MK-7).

Modern diets are often not enough to maintain optimal levels of vitamins D and K. Up to 60 percent of families in the United Kingdom have been found to be deficient in vitamin D, and low levels are linked to serious health problems later in life. Similarly, many experts now believe a subclinical deficiency of vitamin K, not large enough to impair blood clotting, may be widespread and may contribute to osteoporosis and other age-related diseases.

As a clinically researched formula, both vitamins are provided in their most effective forms. Research has shown that the body utilises K2 better than K1, so vitamin K2 (menaquinone) exists in two forms: synthetic MK-4 and natural MK-7. Other studies have shown that the natural MK-7 form is more bioavailable than synthetic MK-4, so Lamberts' vitamins D3 and K2 use 96% pure, natural, full-spectrum MK-7 derived from natto protein. Vitamin D is provided as highly bioavailable D3, suspended in sunflower seed oil for maximum absorption.

Caution

Do not take if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Contains vitamin K; if you are taking anticoagulants (blood thinners), do not take except on medical advice.

Usage:

Take 1 capsule per day with a meal.
