Melatonin 1mg from Lamberts® provides 1mg of pharmaceutical-grade melatonin per tablet. The tablets are fast-release, ensuring rapid release and absorption of melatonin by the body (<20 minutes after swallowing).

Melatonin is a hormone synthesized in the pineal gland of the brain. Its production and secretion are periodic and controlled by the circadian (daily) "clock", which is synchronized with the light-dark cycle. Therefore, melatonin secretion occurs exclusively at night and is suppressed by daylight. This fact highlights the role melatonin plays in physiology and sleep patterns.
