HiPP ORS (Oral Rehydration Solution)

HiPP ORS is a rehydration solution for infants and young children. It is mainly used when the child has:

• Diarrhoea
• Vomiting
• High temperature
• Fluid loss

What does it do?

• Replaces lost fluids
• Restores electrolytes (mineral salts)
• Helps prevent dehydration

This is a carrot & rice variant, which:

• Has a milder taste for children
• Helps stabilise digestion
• Is often used during diarrhoea
• Carrot helps firm up stools and soothes the intestines.

Instructions for use:

From birth (0 months+). Can be given even to newborns. Used when there is diarrhoea, vomiting or risk of dehydration. The amount should be followed according to weight and the instructions on the packaging.

• 0–6 months

Give with a spoon or oral syringe, little by little.

5–10 ml every 5–10 minutes.

In the first 4–6 hours: about 50 ml per kg of body weight (if mild dehydration).
