Grintuss Pediatric syrup

Grintuss Pediatric is a syrup based on Poliresin® and honey that acts both in the dry cough phase, counteracting inflammation of the mucosa, and in the phase with mucus, favouring its hydration and elimination from the upper respiratory tract.

INDICATIONS

Grintuss Pediatric syrup is indicated for the treatment of cough, both dry and with mucus, in children from 1 year of age. It is indicated for both acute cough and persistent cough.

HOW IT WORKS

Grintuss performs a physiological protective, soothing and anti-inflammatory action in the upper respiratory tract through the following mechanisms of action:

Barrier

Forms a film over the mucosa and protects it from contact with irritating agents.

Antioxidant

Reduces the free radicals generated by mucosal inflammation.

Mucoregulator

Promotes hydration of the mucus present in the upper respiratory tract, reducing its viscosity and favouring its elimination.

Lubricant

Limits friction between the epiglottis and the pharynx during coughing, thus counteracting the vicious cycle that contributes to inflammation.

Moisturiser

Favours maintenance of the integrity and functionality of the mucosa.

Grintuss modifies the cough without suppressing it, thus respecting its important role in protecting the respiratory tract.
