Grintuss Adulti is a syrup based on Poliresin® and Miele that acts both in the dry cough phase, counteracting inflammation of the mucosa, and in the phase with mucus, promoting its hydration and elimination from the upper respiratory tracts.

Grintuss Adulti syrup is indicated for the treatment of cough, both dry and productive, in adults and adolescents from 12 years of age. It is indicated both for acute cough and for persistent cough. Grintuss performs a physiological protective, soothing and anti-inflammatory action in the upper respiratory tracts as a result of the following mechanisms of action:

Barrier Forms a film over the mucosa and protects it from contact with irritating agents. Antioxidant Reduces the free radicals generated by mucosal inflammation. Mucoregulator Promotes hydration of mucus in the upper respiratory tracts, reducing its viscosity and promoting its elimination. Lubricant Limits friction between the epiglottis and pharynx during coughing, thus counteracting the vicious cycle that contributes to inflammation.

Hydrating Helps preserve the integrity and functionality of the mucosa. Grintuss modifies the cough without suppressing it, thus respecting its important role in protecting the respiratory tracts.
