Effecol 3350 is a food supplement containing macrogol, used for the chronic and acute treatment of constipation. It is formulated for use by adults and children over 12 years old.

Macrogol is an osmotic laxative used for the treatment of acute and chronic constipation. It has an immediate effect and normalises bowel movement, making it suitable for long-term use. As an osmotic laxative, it is not metabolised by the intestinal microflora, so it does not cause discomfort, bloating, or even loss of water and electrolytes.

Use of Effecol is contraindicated in persons with obstruction of the lower gastrointestinal tract and in those with heart problems.

Food supplements do not replace a balanced diet. Keep out of the reach of children. If you are pregnant, breastfeeding or have a certain illness, consult your doctor before using this medicine.

It is recommended to take 1 to 3 sachets per day. Dissolve the sachet in a glass of room-temperature water and drink immediately. If treatment continues for a long time, the dose may be reduced to 1 to 2 sachets per day. Do not exceed the permitted daily dose.
