DR BRUX LOWER GUARD

• DR. BRUX® bruxism appliances remind you that you have nothing to worry about.
• This appliance is for the lower teeth.
• Due to its anatomical shape, the material is found in a thermo-model, so it may take 5 minutes to dry.

The appliances are made of biocompatible thermoplastic material with 2 types:

Thicker, stronger and more resistant base to last over time.

Thinner and softer walls to allow adaptation to each individual's teeth.

This type of material makes it very common in use and does not allow improper movement during sleep. It does not irritate and does not harm the oral mucosa overnight.

USE:

• Adaptation should be done with the lower teeth.
• Place the rod in the appliance as shown in the figure. In a container, heat 500 ml of water to a boil. Remove the container from the heat.
• Look at the accessories and immerse for 6 seconds. Remove from water and shake off excess water.
• Open the appliance with your hands to ease placement on the teeth.
• Place the appliance on the lower dental arch, closing your mouth without clenching your teeth too hard. With lips closed, inhale air while contracting your cheeks and hold for one minute to remove air from inside the mouth. This creates a vacuum and the guard adheres perfectly to the inner and outer surfaces of the teeth.
• After one minute, remove the appliance from your mouth and rinse with cold water for about 2 minutes.
• The appliance is now ready to use and fit to your mouth.
