Colour SoftTemp offers a fast and uncomplicated alternative for an initial temperature measurement: thanks to infrared technology, temperature can be measured without contact and painlessly within one second. This makes measuring body temperature as comfortable as possible and requires little cooperation from the child. Infrared technology allows temperature to be measured in just one second.

To continuously monitor temperature trends, measurements during the night are unavoidable. However, since a calm sleep is extremely important for quick recovery, you should not wake your child during the night if possible. Contactless measurement, the illuminated display, the optical temperature alarm and the signal tone that can be switched off are ideal for simple, trouble-free temperature checks at night.

Colour SoftTemp is equipped with a three-level optical temperature alarm that lets you see at a glance whether your child has an elevated temperature or fever. At normal temperature the display is green. Elevated temperature (37.5°C – 37.9°C) is shown on the thermometer with an orange display. This means you should measure more often to keep track of any rise in temperature. However, if the thermometer detects that your child has a fever (38°C or higher), you will be quickly alerted by an acoustic signal and a red display.

Precise measurement

The infrared thermometer has an additional positioning LED. The LED shows you exactly where the temperature is being measured. This is important for a reliable temperature measurement, especially at night, when measuring is done in the dark so as not to disturb the sleep that promotes your child's health.

To be able to easily check the development of temperature and your child's recovery, it is recommended to track and compare individual measured values. Thanks to the built-in memory, the thermometer takes this task on for you. It stores the last 25 measured temperature values and makes it easy for you to follow the temperature curve.
