PEGinpol is a laxative product that regulates the bowels through an osmotic mechanism (draws water into the intestine).

PEGinpol is recommended in cases of chronic constipation and occasional irregular bowel activity.

In fact, thanks to its affinity, PEGinpol provides gentle softening, facilitating evacuation without emergency situations. Furthermore, since the product is not absorbed, it does not ferment in the intestine or irritate the mucous membrane, and for this reason does not cause gas or abdominal pain. It is eliminated in the stool in unmodified form.

Dosage

– From 6 months to 2 years (up to 12 kg): 1-2 sachets per day

– From 2 to 11 years (from 12 kg to 20 kg): 2-4 sachets per day

– Over 11 years (+20 kg): 2-6 sachets per day

• One sachet (5 g) is dissolved in half a glass of water.

The daily dose may be divided into several administrations.

The ideal daily dose for each age group should be based on children's body weight, severity of constipation and the individual's response.

For a more precise dose, we recommend consulting your doctor. This product should be given to children only on medical advice. Normally, the maximum dose should not exceed 6 sachets per day.
