Bromelinn® is a food supplement containing bromelain, a complex patented mixture of proteolytic enzymes isolated from pineapple skin (Ananas comosus) with a unique potency of 2500 GDU/g (gelatin dissolving units per gram).

Mechanism of action

Bromelain inhibits the synthesis of bradykinin and calms inflammation. The anti-inflammatory effects of bromelain on postoperative pain and facial swelling are more significant compared to the anti-inflammatory activity of serrapeptase. In combination with conventional therapy, bromelain plays a beneficial role in reducing pain and calming inflammation.
