Bimbovit D3 is a vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol) supplement.

• Vitamin D3 prevents rickets and plays a role in bone formation.
• Stimulates the absorption of calcium and phosphorus in the intestine and regulates serum calcium levels.
• Epidemiological studies show that vitamin D deficiency is associated with an increased incidence of asthma.
• Higher and regular intake of vitamin D in early years is associated with a lower risk (-60%) of asthma and of children's school activity over 5 years.

Recommended dose:

• For premature infants we recommend 4-8 (400-800 IU) per day, under medical supervision.
• For infants in the first year of life we recommend 4 drops (400 IU) per day, under medical supervision.
• Children aged 1-16 years may take 6-10 drops per day.
