APTAMIL PA Lactose-Free (0–12 months)

Complete formula for lactose intolerance and diarrhoea. Food for special medical purposes. Give only on advice and under the supervision of a doctor.

Lactose intolerance is the body's inability to digest lactose. Undigested lactose passes into the intestine and causes abdominal pain, bloating, cramps, flatulence and diarrhoea. It occurs when a baby suffers from lactose intolerance or lactase deficiency.

Features: clinically lactose-free, sucrose-free. 100% casein-based, giving the milk a taste children accept. To restore fluid balance, Aptamil Lactose Free has low osmolarity (150 mOsmol/l; osmolarity 170 mOsmol/kg).

Preparation:

1. Wash your hands and sterilise all utensils.

2. Boil water, let it cool to 40° and measure the required amount of water (as directed) into the sterilised bottle.

3. Use only the scoop inside the box. To measure the powder accurately, level it off with a clean knife.

4. Add the required amount of powder to the bottle as directed.

5. Close the bottle and shake vigorously, vertically, for 10 seconds. Rotating movement is not enough.

6. Cool under running water. Check the milk temperature on the inside of your wrist (about 37°). Feed the baby immediately, within 1 hour.

Ingredients: glucose syrup, vegetable oils, calcium caseinate (from cow's milk), maltodextrin, calcium phosphate, sodium citrate, potassium dihydrogen phosphate, fish oil, potassium citrate, magnesium chloride, potassium chloride, L-taurine, L-tryptophan, L-carnitine, iron sulphate, zinc sulphate, vitamins and minerals, soya lecithin, ascorbic acid, inositol.
