APTAMIL ANTI REFLUX 2 (6–12 months)

Reflux occurs when stomach contents return to the oesophagus after feeding; regurgitation occurs when they reach the mouth. Aptamil AR contains a paste made from carob beans, which thickens the formula without significantly affecting its nutritional value. It reduces regurgitation episodes by 78%.

Aptamil AR 1 & 2 is a new patented formula that does not contain scGOS/lcFOS prebiotics, postbiotics and HMO 3'GL (oligosaccharides found in breast milk), which are scientifically shown to support the microbiota and strengthen babies' immunity.

Be careful! Aptamil AR is slightly thicker than standard formulas, so a teat with a normal flow hole is recommended to allow milk to flow. The feed becomes thicker and softer, like pudding.

Preparation: When preparing Aptamil AR 2 it is important to follow all instructions. 1. Wash your hands and sterilise all utensils. 2. Boil water, let it cool to 40° and measure the required amount of water (as directed) into the sterilised bottle. 3. Use only the scoop inside the box. To measure the powder accurately, level it off with a clean knife. 4. Add the required amount of powder to the bottle as directed. 5. Close the bottle and shake vigorously, vertically, for 10 seconds. Rotating movement is not enough. 6. Cool under running water. Check the milk temperature on the inside of your wrist (about 37°). Feed the baby immediately, within 1 hour.

Ingredients: lactose (from cow's milk), vegetable oils, skimmed milk, demineralised whey, galacto-oligosaccharides (from milk), carob bean paste, whey concentrate, calcium phosphate, fish oil, whey protein, fructo-oligosaccharides, Mortierella alpina oil, choline chloride, potassium citrate, sodium citrate, potassium chloride, ascorbic acid, magnesium chloride, soya lecithin, inositol, taurine, L-tryptophan, zinc sulphate, L-carnitine, vitamins and minerals. Allergens: milk, fish, soya.
