Please note: Aptamil AR is slightly thicker than standard formulas, so a teat with a larger hole is recommended to allow the milk to flow. Preparation:

When preparing Aptamil AR 1, it is important for your child's health to follow all the instructions.

1. Wash your hands and sterilise all equipment.

2. Boil water, let it cool to 40° and measure the required amount of water (as instructed) into the sterilised bottle.

3. Use only the scoop inside the tin. To measure the powder accurately, level it off with a clean knife.

4. Add the correct amount of powder to the bottle as instructed.

5. Close the bottle and shake vigorously, vertically, for 10 seconds. Swirling is not enough.

6. Cool under running water. Check the milk temperature on your wrist (around 37°). Feed the child immediately, within 1 hour.
