Treatment for MOLLUSCUM CONTAGIOSUM

5% potassium hydroxide solution

Molluscum contagiosum is a contagious viral skin disease that spreads through contact and, in some cases, to mucous membranes. It has grown considerably over the last 10 years, especially in children with atopic skin.

Molutrex is very easy to use: 1-2 times a day until the redness disappears (usually after 2-10 days). No rinsing needed. It can be used on the face and body (except around the eyes and on mucous membranes), in adults and on children aged 2 years and older.

How to use:

1- Before use

Replace the bottle cap with the child-safe protective cap with brush. This pack includes a fine applicator for greater precision when applying to very small bumps.

2- Applying MOLUTREX

Open the bottle, place it in a position that prevents spilling, and dip the brush or fine applicator into the solution. Wipe any excess from the brush or fine applicator on the edge of the bottle to prevent excess drops from forming.

Use the brush or fine applicator to apply the product lightly on the edges of the Molluscum contagiosum, without touching the surrounding healthy skin. Re-dip the brush or fine applicator every 2-3 applications. It is advisable to replace the child-safe protective cap after each use.

3- Drying

Let it dry. When using on children, make sure they cannot touch the treated area while the product is drying.

4- Repeat application 1 or 2 times a day

Repeat the application on the same Molluscum contagiosum for several days, until redness appears, which lasts 2-10 days.

5- Stop application

Stop applying Molutrex to the Molluscum contagiosum areas when redness occurs. This is a sign that the Molluscum contagiosum will disappear within 2-6 weeks.

CAUTION: Do not use the product on Molluscum contagiosum for more than 14 days. If they no longer disappear, consult your doctor.

SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS DURING USE

This product should not be used:

• On mucous membranes or around the eyes
• In children under 2 years old
• In cases of the diseases listed above
• On infected or inflamed Molluscum contagiosum
