Features:
YT-74972 particle respirators in protection class FFP1 without an exhalation valve. The four-layer design combines internal working layers, i.e. a filter layer and a separate layer for warm air, so that a minimal amount of humid air is deposited in the respirator, and external layers that improve comfort of use and the mechanical strength of the respirator. Protection class: FFP3. Quantity per pack: 5 pcs. The four-layer construction combines comfort of use and durability: skin-friendly layer -> warm air layer -> filter layer -> outer layer with increased tear resistance. YT-74972 respirators have been tested by an accredited EU Notified Body and are CE certified according to EN 149:2001 + A1:2009. Protective classification: certified respirators protect the respiratory tract from dust, smoke and mist (aerosols), but not from vapour or gas. In some workplaces they may be mandatory equipment for the employee, and the health risks of household tasks or hobbies should not be forgotten, such as wall sanding, woodworking, chimney cleaning, etc. The abbreviation FFP stands for Filtering FacePiece, and the number after it, from 1 to 3, determines the degree of protection. Both the name and the detailed description of the protection levels are described in the European standard EN 149; in general, a higher number means a higher degree of filtration. FFP1 – filters up to 80% of airborne particles down to 0.6 μm in size. Can be used when the NDS* value is not exceeded by more than 4 times. Most often used in the food and construction industries. FFP2 – filters up to 94% of airborne particles down to 0.6 μm in size. Can be used when the PAC value is not exceeded by more than 10 times. Most often used in the metal processing and mining industries, where harmful aerosols, mists or fumes are common in the air. FFP3 – filters up to 99% of airborne particles down to 0.6 μm in size. Can be used when the PAC value is not exceeded by more than 30 times. Most often used in the chemical industry. They protect against smoke, aerosol particles, as well as radioactive substances, carcinogens and pathogens such as viruses, bacteria and fungal spores. *NDS, or maximum permissible concentration, is a parameter derived from measurements taken at the workplace. It informs the employer about air pollutants resulting from production/work and about possible consequences for workers in the tested room.
