Features:

YT-74221 safety harness is part of a system designed to protect people from falls. When worn correctly, the harness should fit snugly around the chest and hips so that, together with a dedicated anchor point, it distributes the forces acting on the body evenly during a fall. Universal size, D-shaped, rear attachment point for a shock absorber, adjustable chest strap, adjustable leg straps, 44 mm wide polyester textile webbing and a strength of more than 27 kN. Clip on the chest strap for hanging the harness after work or for drying it.

The YT-74221 safety harness has been tested in an EU-accredited laboratory and meets the requirements of EN 361:2002.

Visual description.

Safety and legal aspects: work at height is work carried out at a level more than 1 metre above ground or floor level, whose surface is not surrounded on all sides by solid walls or a protective structure up to 1.5 metres high. If collective protective equipment cannot be used in such conditions, the employer ordering the work must, among other things, provide personal protective equipment. Every part of fall protection equipment must meet certain safety standards, which the manufacturer confirms only through an EU-accredited testing laboratory. Confirming compliance with the standards first of all guarantees user safety, and also protects both the worker and the employer from financial consequences arising from fines imposed by the labour inspection authority. Period of use: the harness lifespan is five years, counted from the first use.
