Features:
The YT-73080 universal multimeter with manual range selection for any measurement allows basic and advanced electrical measurements. This is the basic model in our range. Additional protection against mechanical damage is provided by a rubber boot that covers the device body.
Basic measurements:
AC voltage measurement: 0-500 V
DC voltage measurement: 0-500 V
DC current measurement: 0-5
Resistance measurement: 0-2 MΩ
Diode test: IF 1 mA
Circuit continuity test: UR 3 V, 0-30 Ω
Additional measurements:
Transistor test hFE: 0-1000, built-in measuring socket
Square wave generator: 5 Vpp, 50 Hz
Measurement accuracy: Example of accuracy determination for AC voltage measurement. Result calculation: measurement accuracy for 235 V on the YT-73080 range is ±(2% + 10), resolution 1 V. Error formula: (reading x 2%) + 10 x resolution: (235 x 2%) + 10 x 1 = 4.7 + 10 = 14.7 V. Result including measurement error for the 235 V reading = 235 ± 14.7 V*. Result including measurement error for the DC voltage reading 12 V = 12 ± 0.146 V. For a table of resolution and accuracy for a specific measurement, please refer to the instruction manual.
- The YT-73080 multimeter does not have a true RMS function, so the result above is the true RMS value of AC voltage only for a normal sine waveform.
Built-in functions:
Signal generator – setting the dial to the corresponding position generates a square wave signal with a peak-to-peak voltage of 5 Vpp and a frequency of about 50 Hz. The signal can be used in audio technology, for example for diagnosing speakers.
DATA HOLD [H] – holds the currently measured value on the display.
Additional information:
LCD display, maximum displayed value: 1999
Audible signal in the continuity test for resistance below 30 Ω
Automatic switching from diode test to continuity test for circuit resistance below 30 Ω (it is not possible to set the meter to diode test only)
Test leads with overload protection
ABS plastic housing + rubber boot to protect against mechanical damage
Power supply: 9 V battery (6F22), low battery indicator
Caution! When measuring unknown values using manual range switching, make measurements sequentially from the highest range down to the range giving the most accurate result, otherwise you risk damaging the device.
