YT-28313 – Voltage tester 12-1000V

Features:

The YT-28313 inductive voltage tester detects AC voltage in electrical wires in two ranges: 48-1000V and 12-1000V, and also detects a break in a live wire. Eliminating direct contact between the tip and the insulated wire improves safety. Voltage detection is indicated by an LED and an audible signal.

Method:

The YT-28313 tip uses electromagnetic induction. When the tip is brought near a live AC wire or near the expected location of a wire in the wall, the green LED will flash and an audible pulse will sound. The stronger the electromagnetic field, the higher the flashing frequency. This method also allows non-contact detection of a break in a live electrical wire. At the break point, the tester will stop signaling the presence of voltage.

Pressing the button marked “S” increases the tester's sensitivity by extending its range.
