Semiotics of the text

This book grew out of many years of teaching experience. Teaching text semiotics is not easy, because the difficult transition from theory to practice is always present, and because current theories are neither sufficiently clear nor unified from a methodological and epistemological standpoint. Therefore I have tried to produce something useful, especially from a didactic point of view, keeping a simple register and leaving further deepening of some topics to notes or occasional remarks. Since the subject to be covered was very broad and I could not include the basic concepts of semiotics, I have taken for granted some initial knowledge of the fundamental notions of general semiotics.
