Rrugë pa rrugë is a collection of some of the stories and sketches by Petro Marko, published in the newspapers of the time between 1931 and 1937.

Something boils in my blood. Something burns in my heart. Something glows in my soul: I am hot-blooded, for I grew up on corn, which has a lot of soul. I am blind, for for centuries I have lacked light. I don't want to listen to anyone! No one convinces me! I don't want to know what is happening! I look at the world and at life the way I like: happy? Lost? How? Here it is, just as I am, so is the whole world. And how do you know, O giant, what happens outside of you! How do you know how the world rolls! And then you dare to sell minds! But to whom?…

What shall I tell them?

Here is a very short answer: "You, my brother, with these words you say to me, you truly are Albanian!…"
