Prophets and Poetic Meditations

One of the most prominent representatives of the literature of emigration (Adab al-Mahjar) in Arabic literature, Gibran is one of those authors strongly influenced by homeland, emphasizing the universal axiom that childhood is the homeland of everyone, and in a broader sense, is also one's own self-birth.

His work reflects his efforts to reconcile the past and the present, for a healthier future before the ruins take hold. He achieves this reconciliation with a warm approach that conveys his sensitivity, beyond the laws of dogma, which I hope the reader can also enjoy.
