Night of Ustika

The events of this novel take place on the notorious island of Ustica (north of Sicily). This novel is a synthesis of the ordeal of the suffering of hundreds of prisoners of various nationalities, among them many Albanians. In this gloomy environment, the love of Andreas and Sonja shines through.

The narrative is told in the first person, in which the thoughts of the main protagonist (easily identifiable as the author) are skillfully and naturally interwoven, further unraveling his inner feelings.
