Threat of Cosmic Nails

A delegation of students has set off for the planet Mars. Flying into the unknown, towards planets or satellites beyond counting, may expose them to dangers.

The travellers inside the flying vehicle probably do not suspect that the threat of cosmic nails may approach them. It may happen that their ship, which looks like a silver dot from Earth, will break into thousands of particles from one moment to the next, turning into a long spark with a fiery tail…

Through the giant eye of the telescope, their friends watch every movement of this silver dot with worry. What will be the fate of the little travellers and their space ship, which could not slow down when entering the atmosphere?
