The Songs of Milosao

An adaptation of the poem The Songs of Milosao into modern Albanian by researcher Dhimitër Shuteriqi makes it easier and closer for 21st-century readers to engage with this work by De Rada, written in the dialect of the Arbëresh of Calabria. It is intended that, especially for pupils, students and specialised readers, the original Arbëresh version (edition I, 1836) is also included in this publication. The edition is accompanied by several critical assessments that well-known scholars have made of the work and of De Rada's figure, as well as an afterword by researcher Lili Sula.
