Kënga e turmës

Poems written between 1985 – 2016 … my life in poetry

Kenga e turmës

“We are all down here, but we are alone

God is so high that he is nowhere to be seen,

While the stands are almost always empty,

And when they come out, they only want you to listen to them.

So we are a big, crowded, orphaned crowd.

We all sing with candles unlit

A strong wind blows, and there is no one to light them,

In the stands no human foot is seen

And when they come,

They don't have a single match with them…“
