Hotel Next to the Church

"Hotel Next to the Church" is a mirror of the time that gave birth to it, a symbol of a turbulent transition, where the characters are pursued by paranoia, silence, loneliness and powerlessness, and who go toward their end with pain and worry, yet still silent and submissive. All the stories in this collection seek to call for rebellion. For a rebellion not so much against the world as against oneself, against self-censorship, against the filters and complex fences that stop our running and clip our dreams. After all, we can rebel against the world only if we first rebel against ourselves. The paths leading to this rebellion are often dark, frightening and painful. It is along such paths that the stories of this collection try to lead the reader, focusing more on the emotions and beauty that untouched territories give, than on finding unspoken answers.
