The Theft of Smiles

How great it is to have an aunt who is a police officer! On the first day, when I told the others in class, the boys opened their eyes so wide that they started asking whether my aunt had caught any criminals and where she kept her handcuffs and rubber baton… The girls asked what uniform my aunt wears and whether I had been to her workplace. And I, bragging a little, told them that my aunt can be seen everywhere on the city streets, because she directs traffic and helps people and vehicles avoid accidents.
