Journalism – A Didactic and Practical Manual

This book is a didactic and practical manual for journalism. It focuses primarily on the practice and the "craft" of the journalist, but also includes knowledge from the sciences of publicistics and communication, where useful and where there is room to broaden horizons. The book follows the dramatic changes in the journalism profession, keeping pace with the times without falling into the trap of today's fashion. The book shows how everyday journalism changes through forms of communication and online research.

The book has been updated and completely reworked in this fourth edition, and its perspective has been expanded with the participation of two co-authors, Jonila Godole from Albania and Dren Gërguri from Kosovo. Thus, the Albanian-speaking reader has the opportunity to get acquainted, at the end of the book, with an overview of the media landscape in these two countries, the impact of the internet and social networks and, among other things, the influence of politics on editorial policy.
