The Art of Poetry

How do we approach the art of poetry? This book is inspired by questions that often arise in our lecture halls and literary circles… It is conceived as an introduction to the art of poetry, especially for students, but also for poetry enthusiasts in general, through the interweaving of theoretical approaches to issues such as: poetic diction (features of classical and modern discourse), misconceptions about free verse (vargu i lirë vs vargu i çlirë), the richness of stylistic registers, etc., with the best examples of writing practice offered by Albanian poetic production.
