Anne Frank

Anne Frank was born in Frankfurt in 1929. Three years later, her family had to emigrate to the Netherlands because of Nazi terror. In her diary she wrote about everything she experienced while living in the house where she hid together with her family and other people, to escape German persecution of Jews. Kindness, coexistence, hope, fear, debates in a small space, monotony, love, anxiety for freedom and a multitude of feelings — all written by a girl who dreamed of becoming a writer, but died of typhus and the madness that gripped Europe in the mid-20th century.
