100 Scientists Who Changed the World

The book 100 Scientists Who Changed the World introduces us to their extraordinary achievements: people who often faced extreme public disbelief or, even worse, were condemned on their path to expanding the limits of human knowledge.

Across the broad spectrum of scientific discoveries, this book takes us from the cosmology of Copernicus and Galileo, through the medical labyrinths of Hippocrates and Galen, to the fields of physics, biology, chemistry and genetics.

This is the story of the ideas that shaped today's world and that will continue to shape it in the future.
