Deathtrap is the fifth installment in the critically acclaimed Orcs Must Die! saga. This new installment of orcish mayhem and destruction introduces significantly deeper progression systems: players will grow their War Mages, becoming more powerful with every battle, and will enjoy endless replayability as they face relentless hordes of orcs, alone or in up to four-player co-op. Players will be challenged to place traps, upgrade defenses, and use their heroes' unique weapons and abilities to prevent the orcs from entering the Rift, a portal and powerful source of magic. Key Features: Slay More, Alone or Together: Play solo or in co-op teams of up to four players, with each mode offering unique challenges and rewards. The game is designed to scale to the number of players, ensuring a balanced and engaging experience with any combination. Powerful and Awesome Heroes: Find your role among the new War Mages, each with unique weapons, abilities, traps, and personalities. Each hero is designed for different playstyles and can fight alone or team up with other complementary heroes, ensuring versatile and devastating gameplay against the orcs. No Two Games Are the Same: Face increasingly intense waves of orcs and other hideous beasts, with randomized buffs and penalties that affect your hero, traps, weapons, stats, and even the levels themselves. Environmental factors like weather and time of day further alter your enemies and your defensive options. As these effects accumulate, choose whether to continue fighting the increasingly ferocious hordes or return to your castle to upgrade your hero, weapons, and traps before facing a deadly Orc General in a brutal final showdown. Epic Combat: Experience enhanced combat where the combination of heroic abilities and ingenious traps creates unprecedented orc destruction. Enjoy dynamic third-person gameplay, both with firearms and melee. Experience crazy physics-based interactions and absurd ragdoll effects. Watch with satisfaction as your traps throw, crush, slice, and incinerate orcs in spectacular fashion. The Classic Spirit of Orcs Must Die: Orcs Must Die! Deathtrap stays true to the series' beloved humor, character, and charm. From the orcs' sarcastic comments to the over-the-top effects that make them fly and scream, accompanied by a powerful guitar and drum soundtrack, every moment is designed to get you feeling the adrenaline rush.
